- Die Weltföderation der Akupunkturgesellschaften (WFAS) ist eine offizielle
Non governmental Organization ( NGO) der Welgesundheitsorganisation (WHO). Die WHO ist eine Organisation der Vereinten Nationen (UNO). ATCÄ e.V., vertreten durch Herrn Dr. Michael Germann, ist das deutsche Vorstandsmitglied der WFAS - L´association des Societe´s d´Acupuncture Mondial (WFAS) et une
organisation non gouvernementale (NGO) de l` Organisation Mondial de la Sante` (OMS) qui leur meme est une organisation des Nations Unies (ONU). ATCAE e.V., represente´ par Dr. Michael Germann est membre allemand du directoire de la WFAS. - The World Federation of Acupuncture Societies (WFAS) is an official
non governmental Organization ( NGO) of the World Health Organization (WHO) which itself is an organization of the United Nations (UNO). ATCAE e.V., represented by Dr. Michael Germann, ist the German member of the board of WFAS.
Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
im Namen der WHO akkreditierten World Federation of Acupuncture Moxibustion Societies (WFAS),
- der CFA-MTC der Collège Francais d´Acupunture de Medicine Traditionelle Chinoise
- und der ATCÄ e.V., der Akupunktur - und TCM Gesellschaft in China weitergebildeter Ärzte Deutschlands
ist es uns eine große Freude und Ehre Akupunkturtherapeuten und Experten aus aller Welt zum einen
am 04. November 2009 zur 7. Generalversammlung der World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies in die *Louis-Pasteur-Universität Straßburg (nur für Delegierte) und zum anderen vom 05. bis 07. November zum 7.
Welt-Akupunktur-Kongress der WFAS in das Europaparlament nach Straßburg einzuladen.
Dank einer Sondergenehmigung wird uns die außergewöhnlche Ehre erwiesen, die offiziellen Räumlichkeiten des Europaparlaments
für den WFAS-Weltkongress wahrnehmen zu dürfen.

- Leitgedanke des Kongresses ist die weltweite Anwendung der Akupunktur auf höchstem Niveau und der Ausbau der Grundlagenforschung auf diesem Gebiet.
Regierungen vieler Länder versuchen die Akupunktur in ihre nationalen Gesundheitssysteme zu integrieren. Um die Qualität und die
Sicherheit bei der Anwendung der Akupunktur zu gewährleisten, gewinnt u.a. die Umsetzung der WHO-Richtlinien sowie die Forschung und die umfangreichere Ausbildung zunehmend an Bedeutung.
Vertreter von Gesundheitsministerien, der WHO, der WFAS sowie Repräsentanten der internationalen Politik und Administration werden in ihren Vorträgen auf die wichtigsten Fragen und Aspekte der Akupunktur eingehen.
- Darüber hinaus laden die WFAS, ATCÄ und CFA-MTC Ärzte, Therapeuten und Experten dazu ein, ihre Abstracts für Fachvorträge und Poster-Präsentationen anzumelden. Die Vorgaben hierzu sind dieser Ankündigung zu entnehmen.
Wir freuen uns darauf, unsere alten Freunde der WFAS wiederzusehen, neue Freundschaften zu schließen und gerne auch

on behalf of the WHO-accredited World Federation of Acupuncture Moxibustion Societies (WFAS)
- the CFA of the MTC Collège de Francais d'Acupunture de Medicine Traditionelle Chinoise and
- ATCAE The acupuncture - and TCM society of German physicians trained in China
It is our great pleasure and honour to invite acupuncture therapists and experts from all over the world to the 7th General Assembly of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies taking place on the 04. of November 2009 in the
University of Strasbourg (only for delegates) and to the 7th WFAS World Congress of Acupuncture taking place from 05. to 7. of November 2009 in the European Parliament Strasbourg.
Thanks to a special permit we have the exceptional honour of using the official premises of the European Parliament for the WFAS World Congress
- The guiding principles of the congress are the universal application of acupuncture at the highest level and the expansion of basic research in this area.
Governments of many countries try to integrate acupuncture into their national health systems. To ensure quality and safety in the
use of acupuncture the implementation of the WHO guidelines and the research and intensive training in acupuncture get increasingly important.
Representatives from health ministries, WHO, WFAS and representatives of international politics and administration will outpoint issues and aspects of acupuncture in their key note lectures.
- In addition to that WFAS, ATCA and CFA- MTC invite doctors, therapists and experts to summit their abstracts and poster presentations for registration. The requirements of this can be found in the announcement described below.
We look forward to seeing our old friends of WHO WFAS again, make new friends and would like to welcome you in November 2009 in the capital of Europe Strasbourg, the historical and most important border town of Germany and France.
